Pad Thai

This classic Pad Thai brings together tender rice noodles, juicy prawns, and a vibrant mix of garlic, bean sprouts, chives, and roasted peanuts. Tossed in a tangy-sweet Pad Thai sauce and finished with a squeeze of fresh lime, it’s a quick stir-fry that delivers authentic Thai flavor in every bite. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a light summer meal.

Ingredients

  • 300g rice stick noodles
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 400g Shore Mariner Raw Prawn Cutlets
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 tbsp Pad Thai sauce
  • 1C mung bean sprouts
  • 1 handful chives
  • ¼C roasted salted peanuts

Method

  1. Cook Pad Thai noodles (rice noodles) according to packet instructions and strain.
  2. In a pan add vegetable oil, and add the prawns or shrimps to the heated pan. Add your garlic, to the pan.
  3. Remove the prawns and set aside, add the strained noodles back into the pan and add the Pad Thai Sauce.
  4. Give it a good stir make sure all the noodles and the sauce have come together.
  5. Add your bean sprouts. Remove from heat and add chives and roasted peanuts. Serve the noodles with prawns on top, and a lime to squeeze.
